Rivals reports that Kennedy will plead to disorderly conduct, which can be expunged after one year. All other charges to be dropped. Disorderly conduct is next to nothing charge -- you can get it for playing your music too loud and not turning it down when the cops tell you to turn it down. It will not be admitting to assault or using racial slurs. It pays to have expensive lawyers.

I knew he wasn't going to face the original charges.

Sounds like he was guilty to me and just took the coward's way out.

Expunged doesn't mean forgotten. Seems to me he is admitting to more than playing his music too loud..

Not a Kennedy fan or Ole Miss, but in all honesty, what would you do? If you were involved in all of this and had the chance to plea this down, wouldn't you take it? I'd rather be a coward than an idiot. An idiot would fight this in court. Innocent or not.

Notice: Just because I typed this, does not mean that I cannot make Kennedy jokes concerning his being a racist or not pleasing his wife.

not saying he's innocent, just that I'd take the plea regardless. I've seen too many stupid jury decisions to risk it either way.

Unfortuanately for a public figure like Kennedy, acquittal doesn't mean forgotten either.

came out smelling like a rose. At any rate, it takes two to tango and the fact that the Prosecutor is offering this deal says volumes about his/her view of the case. It could only have turned out better for Kennedy had all the charges been dismissed outright. As is, he's probably tickled pink.

Can you imagine all the slurs/innuendos that would be tossed about if this were an MSU coach? Does anyone know if a deal was made ala cash to the cabbie to shut up? No. And we'll never know.

How many major conference coaches have ever pleaded guilty to something like this? Prosecutors offer deals all the time to the obviously guilty. They have much more important things to spend their time on than investing hundreds of man-hours going to trial on a misdemeanor. Like maybe prosecuting felonies.

AK is gutter trash. Plain and simple. The guy has no right to have the position he does. TSWRA huh rebels? The line starts behind the 6'8 bigot yall have as a head basketball coach.

If you're gonna say that the majority of Ole Miss graduates agree with Andy Kennedy's view of minorities (which is a completely ******** statement) then you might as well go ahead and say most MSU grads do too, because they're more alike than they are different.

he is still your head coach and pled guilty to drunkenly yelling racial slurs at a taxi cab driver. And by the looks of things your fan base is more than ready to forgive him....just as long as he wins 20 something games next year.

Miss State is much more diverse than Ole Miss, don't play that card. Hard to believe considering we are bunch of necks huh?

He's about to plead guilty to "disorderly conduct."

So do you enjoy taking things out of context or are you just too damn stupid to read and react to **** for what it really is?

You have to be the outright favorite for the overall #1 seed if there was ever a SPS madness tourney. Your easily our most annoying poster.

Here are the percentages I found since you want to bring it up.:

MSU
Native American: 0.40%
Asian: 1.36%
African-American: 19.91%
Hispanic: 1.15%
Caucasian: 72.41%
Unknown: 0.82%
International: 3.95%

Ole Miss
Native American: 0.36%
Asian: 1.42%
African-American: 13.29%
Hispanic: 1.13%
Caucasian: 78.97%
Unknown: 2.68%
International: 2.15%

Your campus is about 6.5% less white. That translates into a little over 1000 students out of about 17,000.
