They scaled back their footprint last year. Your point is still valid though. If I can buy a fifth of 151 at the store, why can't I buy a bomber of 12% brew? That's ridiculous.

Just saw that on their Facebook page. That's really big news. Before long I won't have to bootleg my Sierra Nevada Torpedo across the TN state line.

Which is roughly 10.1% ABV. 90-Minute would be legal, but it will probably be a while before they distribute here. They're still not in Alabama, and I don't think they're anywhere close to distributing there.

RYP says that the beer industry, I'm assuming Miller and InBev, would have fought anything above 10.1% ABV but were supporters of raising the cap up to that. It's better than nothing I guess, and if economic impacts are felt because of it, I'm sure we'll have residents and politicians of our broke *** state begging for another increase. Or we could see the status quo, as our rednecks continue to consume the piss water and craft breweries realize that MS is still a ****** market.

You guys seem to be tuned into this subject pretty well. Is MS really close to opening the doors for some good craft beer to come in within the next year or two? Or are you just kinda tossing around the thoughts about how nice it would be?

I'll ask it like a spirit recruiting question.

Can you put a percentage on the chances I can get a New Belgium in Kroger by 2013?
