Uh so the “major news” is that they need more donations under the disguise of a fancy marketed “campaign”. Am I missing something?

For us alumni to view the university only through athletics is obviously a narrow perspective. But hoops and athletics is what still keeps me connected. Good intro to the campaign. Interested in seeing more details.

OK, how do they propose to reach that lofty amount? $225 million is a BIG number considering the total endowment is estimated at $336 million. I hope they can pull it off--

It's a creative number.

They are saying they already have $175M raised but it seems this goes back several years. They say much of the money raised was used for the University Center, the Basketball Facility, 37 Private Grants & 185 new scholarships.

So it seems they are looking for $50M moving forward.

They will have various info sessions to explain the new campaign. Next one is November in Asbury Park.
