I think they feel like they caught lightning in a bottle with him. He's doing exactly what they've asked him to do which is be a backup PG and fit in with the team. His shooting has forced more perimeter defense, particularly when he and O.J. are both in the game, and opened up the inside a bit more.

Was hoping that both L.A.s would lose last night to OKC and the Spurs but both won...Clips won in OKC or the Grizz would be in 4th right now.

All appearances point to him fitting in real well. Behind all the Agent 0 stuff of the past, he's a really smart player and has been a good influence on the young guys so far. I doubt he'll be happy forever being a role player, but he seems on board this year. When his knee is back... who knows? Orlando is paying him his $60mil, so he may just chill in Memphis if he likes it, but it would be hard not to take another big contract and go be the man somewhere else in the future. But for this Griz team at this moment, he's been perfect.

is that the Grizzlies are ridiculously deep right now. Need a shooter? Mayo and Arenas are on the bench. Need defense/rebounding? Allen, Pondexter, and Cunningham are all top notch. Need scoring? Zebo, Rudy, and Mayo can all get it done. When you then throw in ol' reliables like Marc Gasol and Conley, they've got a great team. No superstars, but a team full of guys willing to play hard and fight and there isn't a team in the West that wants to draw the Grizz in the playoffs right now.

I don't know how we manage to 17 up the draft each and every year, but kudos to Wallace for making some great deals this year.

Over the last few games, I have watched him absolutely get hacked in the lane and during shots, but it's almost like the refs are purposefully letting it go. I don't know what he did to them, but it happened twice last night. He was driving the baseline and got absolutely hammered across the arm, but no call...

the way PHX got to the rim every time I thought Marc Broke his tailbone on that dunk. I hope Rudy uses the glass on every shot now. Disappointed that up & under dunk by Donte didn't go down, the roof would have been gone. Locked it down at the end. Great win..........again. Spurs and thunder pissed me off too losing to the LA's

I really REALLY hate tim duncan & the Spurs'whiney asses. We need to punish them tonight.

Good call on the Depth. There's not 1 guy on the roster that bothers me when he gets the call to come in. Hadaddi sits for 2 weeks, get's a call at the lakers, get's 10 pts, 6 boards, 3 blocks. That game Cunningham plays maybe 1 minute. Next game Marc sits with an ankle,Donte starts and gets a career high in rebounds. Tony Allen's face get's destroyed, Pondexter starts and what he lacks in theatrics, he doesn't miss a beat between the whistles.

Shaq's gone Godfather, no better train to get on board with than at the Grindhouse.
