What is a bad look? Was it bad when he came here with Hazel, Frank, all the coaches, Trace, and several recruits? Will it be a bad look when our new guy brings a bunch of staff/ players from elsewhere?
Did a Vandy personnel director tell their recruits to decommit prior to that individual joining Franklin’s team at PSU?

That’s not what that tweet actually said though.

He left PSU for VT last Monday or Tuesday, started at VT very quickly, and helped set up and run their recruiting stuff this past weekend.

Who wants to take bets on if he's still at Va Tech in 2028?
The reality is--these kids will quickly learn loyalty to Franklin doesn't benefit them--well, some don't learn quickly (looking at Drew)

They care more about getting to the NFL than winning in college especially if they are going to Va Tech. They see Franklin has a good track record of getting guys into the NFL and certainly at RB. The fact that Franklin can't win a big game does not mean much to them.

In some cases, people are just naive. They must believe that there's some type of gentleman's agreement that precludes newly hired coaches from trying to recruit players they had previously recruited to their former team. There is no such agreement. It's gloves off time. Also, there is such a strong hatred for Franklin among some that they'd be willing to believe anything that paints him as underhanded, nefarious, or even evil. It's just part of the irrational fanatic personality and their extreme devotion to the cause. Anyway, all we have is a bunch of hearsay that spreads like wildfire on the internet and morphs into a narrative that some take as gospel.

@Grant Green says something along the lines of there is nothing more over emotional than the male sports fan. You’ve got right with the irrational fanatic traits (I could say the same thing about people that are really into politics). The ability to justify and rationalize anything your side does, while assuming the worst in your rivals and believing everything bad about them is insane.

It’s like our rivals believing that Joe knew what was happening for decades but ignored it for more wins. Or Ohio State fans believing that their band was pelted with urine filled balloons all game in 2005. But you get some people posting about it online or taking things out of context, and suddenly it snowballs even if it makes little sense.

The much bigger loss was Kevin Brown (OL) to WVU.
Whomever is selected as new PSU HC needs to work to keep the young RBs already on the Roster. They are talented.

Call me shocked. Heavy sarcasm.
