I personally think that Sherri has proved herself with her successes she has had in the past. This years's team has little height and little depth. It was obvious from the beginning of this season that 2019 would be a bad year and it was.
There was no surprise how this season would turn out.
To which successes are you referring? Some would argue she was wildly lucky with her recruiting and the performance of Stacey Dales.
The Paris twins specifically did not want to go to a blue-blood school and wanted to put a lower prestige school on the map.
After that, what success has she had. Not much.
She has been terrible for nearly a decade now. I mean it's great she had some really great teams years ago, but it's becoming ancient history. Now you can make excuses for her as to why she hasn't fielded a competitive team in years, but in the end it's her responsibility for what happens with her teams.Sheri Coale has had a hell of lot of successes at OU with many 20+ win Seasons and three 30+ Win Seasons
LINK..... Sheri Coale's year by year W/L records at OU

.Coale's W/L percentage is at 65% and she has had some competitive teams.
But losing 33 of the last 55 games may be an indication that Coale has taken the program as far as she can.

5 of the last 8 seasons her teams have finished unranked. The other 3 seasons, her teams were barely sniffing the Top 25. She has been terrible for years, regardless of your attempts to gloss over the situation.Sheri in the last ten years has Seven 20 wins seasons.

And through all these lofty achievements, Coale’s team can’t get it done in March..

Sherry in the last 14 seasons had nine 20 wins seasons and Two 30 win seasons

Bull, we are aware of Sheri’s successes, the ones that made her a millionaire.
Don't expect me to buy into your fake news.So in last 14 seasons Sheri had Eleven 20 and 30 wins seasons
Sounds pretty Damn Good to me!
As long as you believe that, that's all the matters right?just the FACTS!
That would be nice as long as OU doesn’t have a screaming idiot coaching them as Baylor does.We all know we will never be a Connecticut. We might become a Baylor
Don't expect me to buy into your fake news.
I'm not blind. Sherry had a nice run. But her program is slowly becoming a dumpster fire.Nothing Fake...Just facts
In the Last Sherri's 14 years at OU she has had Eleven 20 win and 30 win seasons.
Thats 11 successful seasons in Sherri's last fourteen years.
Pretty damn good right Billy?

.....or the lack of talent ?Who is responsible for the lack of height and the lack of depth.
Good post. And I also believe Bob Stoops had taken the program as far as he felt he could. Lincoln Riley's presence made the decision an easy one.College Coaching: It's not about what you did for us yesterday. It's about what you are doing for us today. There are many examples of early success turning into latter failure. Time does not heal wounds in college coaching. Coale and Kruger should be shown the door. I may get nailed to the cross for making this statement but I felt Bob Stoops was headed down this same path ( and I think he knew it better to jump than be pushed off the coaching pedestal). OU deserves better than what Coale and Kruger are giving them.

I could never block Bull. We go back too far for me to do that. FYI: Bullmarket is the first known diagnosed case of SDS (Sooner Derangement Syndrome).I'm so thankful I have Bull blocked so I can't see anything he posts...has done wonders for my BP

Sherri has had a 64% winning percentage in the past 10 years. Take away the out of conference cupcake teams like Heller Keller Community College for Brain Injured Paraplegics and it's more like 50%. I'd hate to think any OU Women's Basketball fan calls that successful.Oklahoma plays about 10-11 out of conference games to start each season. MOST of those are against way sub-par competition. That alone should be about 8 padded wins per year regardless of Oklahoma's abilities.
From there, the Big XII pretty much sucks. Outside of Baylor, it's a whole host of mediocrity. That's 18 Big XII games. Go 50/50 in the Big XII, and you're now sitting at 17 or so wins for a season.
Toss in a Big XII tournament win or two and go just over 50% in the regular season, and you've got 20 wins. Don't fool us with the idea that 20 wins is a big deal.
25 wins actually signifies some success in my eyes. How many of those does Oklahoma have in the last 10 years?
I'll give you a hint. It rhymes with Juan.
Yes. It's definitely better overall to have a strong women's basketball product. The more sports that bring in more money than they spend the better the overall athletic program is. There's zero to be excited about in the current women's basketball program. If Sheri stays and maintains the current level of performance would anyone here really......really......care ?

Well, there are some excuses:Having been to a bunch of games in the Dales. Paris, etc. years, yes, I care that she has not kept up with the talent level we had.
IMO, there was NO EXCUSE for not winning a title with 1 or 2 of the Courtney teams...
