If it were my league, I'd be keeping Ryan, AP, and DMac.
Try to be the last person to declare your keepers so you can see who everyone else has kept.
That way, if few QBs are kept, you might wanna do AP, DMac and Felix, or a receiver. If you have to use a TE in your league, Gates might be worth keeping.

Bottom line-
Know your league's scoring system.
Determine who is more valuable.
See who others are keeping, and keep the big point makers and scarce items.

Especially how many players you can start at each position and how many teams are in your league. If there are a lot of teams, then you definitely want to lock in a QB early. If you only have like 8 or 10 teams though, you can probably afford to wait on a QB.

1. Adrian Peterson is a lock. You have to keep him
2. D. McFadden should be kept too.
3..... Several close choices
If you really want a QB, go with Ryan here, but I think you have better choices. Gates, V. Jackson, Mike Wallace, and Desean Jackson are all good, and pretty close in ranking to me. If I had to choose, I would go with Vincent Jackson, although I think Gates is slightly more valuable.

Side note, Eli Manning, Josh Freeman, Felix Jones, and Jets should be dropped from your choices.

Barber is gone, and choice isn't going to get that many more touches than he did last year, as Felix has bulked up a bit and can shoulder the bulk of the carries. Choice and Murry are banged up a little right now, so he's basically a lone starter right now.

and there are no round penalties, I would keep these three:

Peterson
McFadden
Wallace

Felix hasn't proved anything to be kept in a small keeper league. Peterson/McFadden give you two first round runningbacks and Wallace is your best WR option. Not considering Gates b/c his age and his injury cloud that makes him a perennial gametime decision.

I of course waslocked in with A.P. and pretty much DMac.... I was torn on that #3 guy... Like you said, it's a toss up with several options. Between: Wallace, VJax, D. Jackson, Matty Ice, E. Manning, Gates.....

My league is pretty muchstandard scoring.
QB 1 pt for every 25 yds passing
RB 1 pt for every 10 yds rushing
RB
RB/WR
WR 1 pt for every 10 yds receiving
WR
TE
