Another guy looking back now that I wish we had taken....

is Cameron Fraser especially after losing Mix. He was a guy we could have easily had if we would have taken his commitment early on and from reports he sounded better than other OL we did take. Anyway, he ended up signing with Louisville after being committed to USF for a while.

I always thought we should have brought him in for a visit

We'll see how big a mistake that might have been in a few years if he develops into a solid starter for them.

a guy we brought in but I guess I never really understood why we took Clayborn rather than Fraser from the start. I actually think Fraser is a better prospect than Mix as well for that matter. Anyway, its done now, and we only brought in 3 OL so I certainly hope they all pan out.

We struck out on OL. It will be a problem in a few years unless we go juco. Flowers is the only sec guy we got

From people i trust, bouldin and flowers are the only sec guys with thomas being the 3rd, if he gets healthy.

Fraser, Dylan Bradley, Austin Droogsma, Nick Haynes. We had plenty to choose from. Coaches chose to cut down on the guys we signed for some reason. See no reason we didn't take Austin. And does anybody know the real story on Mix? What the ****?

Thomas and Flowers are both SEC guys. Clayborn is a develomental guy.

I like Thomas a lot. Unfortunately we're going to stick him out there as a rFr and people are going to lose their **** about how he's terrible. Hevesey HAS to go.

Weakest link. To boot he's a total douche.

Why would we stick him out ther as a RFr? We've got a ton of OL in front of him and still don't have that many SRs next year.

Who do we have at T? We've loaded up at G but I can't think of anyone other than that Canadian we would play on the end.

Well guys that would still be around at T when Thomas is a RFr would be:

BClausell - SR
DRobinson - SR
AMuniz - SR
DKnox - JR
CCarter - SO
JSenior - SO

Hard to tell because we don't list guys specifically as Gs or Ts but I think all of those would be candidates ahead of Thomas. Lawson would be a SR as well but I sort of doubt he will ever see the field at this point. Also will say that I think Flowers is more likely to be a T in college than even Thomas is.

I thought Knox left the team, and Robinson and Muniz are at RT. Senior is the Canadian I was referring to (big risk, big reward), and Cole Carter looks really promising. Looked like a marshmellow his senior year, but I see him around campus every day and he doesn't even look like the same guy. Massive in a good way now.

When Mullen came here he immediately brought in WR's to fill a position we desperately needed and never really have had, and we are really going to upgrade on talent this year and moving forward there... But OL recruiting has been AWFUL. Again, Hevesey has to go. As someone said, add Looney.

It's not necessarily the talent we bring in aside from some questionable offers (Trapp, some people questioning Frasier), but it seems like every year or two since Mullen got here we have to start an unqualified guy because we simply don't have anyone else. That's on Mullen and Hevesey. I blame both equally but Mullen actually brings something to the table, unlike Hevesey. I don't care if they have been together 10 years.
