Another loss for the Canton community

I know this is off topic, but Canton Middle School’s AD and beloved boys basketball coach for 18 yrs, Steve Ledford, age 50, passed away suddenly on Thursday. Prayers for his family, his friends, and the kids he taught and coached. Unbelievably sad!. He was also at Reynolds Middle School for 11 years, and he was CEO and founder of Mountain Sports baseball for 15 years.

Our JV's played East Rutheford last night at home and East brought a trailer and a pick up truck loaded with bottle water to help the ones effected by the flood. We are seeing a lot of things like that from several schools and communities here in WNC and across the state. We appreciate and thank them all.

That is just horrible. There is just a lot of sad news these days.So much to pray for.
