It should be pointed out (and I’m loathe to bring it up) but the Spurs own Atlanta’s next 3 first rounders from the DJ Murray trade.(Next year is a pick swap) They didn’t include any of those and I don’t blame them. Hawks are collapsing and there are rumors Trae is going to ask for a trade. They can’t really tank though because they don’t own their own picks until 2028. Spurs now have Fox to pair with Wemby while still owning a probable lottery pick this year and maybe the next 3. They are about to be really good again.

Im going to start paying more attention to the Grizzlies now that it looks like Atlanta will be bad for a good while.

Cooper Flagg was born to play in Utah. I’m calling it now. Jazz get 1st pick.

Would not be surprised if San Antonio dominates the next few years.

San Antonio has the right combination of luck and good management. I just wonder if Pop is really going to be able to come back

Spurs have an opportunity to run the league for a long, long time if their front office is proactive. Do you cut ties with Pop now or later to stabilize that ship?

I wouldn't cut ties with Pops unless there were no other choice and even then I'd drag my feet.
