We finally have a good looking QB coming in here that fits Mullen's system and has the mechanics necessary to succeed at QB in Dak Prescott. We've never had WR depth in the past like we do now, but we sure as hell haven't had any talented QB's, and that plays a huge part in this. Having a good QB can make average receivers look a lot better.

I'm not saying Dak is Peyton Manning, but Manning is a guy I can think of where that is true.Tamme, Blair White, and Austin Collie are average receivers that Peyton makes look better. If Dak can come in and be an accurate passer and put our WR's in consistently good positions to make plays, we can afford to miss on these big time 4 star WR's and be successful with the Robert Johnson's of the world, who was the 67th ranked WR in his class. I'm not saying that we shouldn't go after those WR's, but even if we miss on them, having a good QB will make up for not necessarily having thehighest ratedtalent at WR.

but we always have a godd crew of RB's, andthe next few years will be no different. Griffin, Ballard, and Perkins, along with Relf, is a deadly combo.

If Dak comes in as advertised passing, we will be very good offensively. Relf, although he improved the last 3 games, is still primarily a run threat. Finding a QB that can spread the ball around AND keep the defense honest with his feet will be invaluable. If we continue to show improvement throwing the ball, some big time WR's will come. But until then, I trust Dan to find the necessary talent at the skill positions to keep us competitive. A guy like Fosselman, who is 171st ranked at WR, I'm hearing just doesn't drop passes and has great hands, and those are the kind of guys that we need thatI trust Mullen to find them.
