After a solo hr in the FIRST, where a UT player chirped to the entire infield when rounding the bags. College Baseball desperately needs some Clemons and Pedro attitudes. Congrats on your HR last AB, here’s a fastball in your earhole for your trouble.

There is no doubt. Everyone always says Vitello is the best coach in baseball, and he certainly seems to be up there. But I'm thinking I would get tired of all the bat-flipping, jawing at inappropriate times, and benches clearing discussions if he were our coach.
I am usually in the "yeah he's an assshole, but he's our assshole" camp, but that guy's BS seems like it would get old. I don't mind a guy who gets fired up at times, when necessary, but I truly believe Vitello creates fake drama at this point. He's like an old school rasslin manager.
It would also help if pitchers had to bat.

In Knoxville paper Vitello made it sound like it was both teams, but you know, his team is ALWAYS involved with bringing the other teams into it. Yeah, he's a definite douchebag and I don't think I want him as our douchebag
I'll also insert here that the Vol fans are involved in this. If they didn't like his douchebaggery, it would stop (or at least slow down). Yet it continues, and they eat it up.
Just look at the Texas fans and how they went after that dumb kid who was jawing at the pitcher like he had just hit a 500 ft bomb after he drew a WALK. They were down 8-1 at the time. The UTex fans were pissed and embarrassed, as they should have been. Volnation would have been celebrating that BS.
