Aside from the fact he's a good coach, our economy right now isn't conducive to firing one coach and hiring the kind of coach who could consistently lead us to the Sweet 16 and Final Four. With Stans, we're getting the hometown discount.

That, and the fact that we're bitching about a 19 win season. When I was at State, we got to 18 once (Jeff Malone's senior year) and the campus went apeshit. This season, Stansbury did the best with what we had and, except for the Auburn game last week, the team has played hard for him.

For those who say, "Yoo's leeveing in 'th paaaast", do you think we're living in 2002-2006 before the economy went into the crapper, we had 4% unemployment, and people could hire, fire, join, or quit any job they wanted?
