except for the Library. People have been getting their stuff (backpacks, laptops, iphones, etc) stolen left and right for a large part of the year.

When seconds count the police are only minutes away. Crime on campus is getting to be a problem but I honestly don't know what the police can do about it, in a preventative way. If they accost people because of their appearance they get sued.

...send out cops who look/dress like students. Send them out during the times/places robberies seem to occur. Let em be packing and let the outcome be what it be.

Libraries are probably the easiest places on campus to steal items because there are many places people can sit down and study. And if someone decides to go to the bathroom, get a book from one of the shelves, or just stretch their legs and leave their stuff at the desk, that person's just asking for their stuff to get stolen.</p>

they did that with that girl that was being followed while jogging. A female cop would join her undercover and they busted the dude. His name was "Radar" or something. I think he was busted with his pants down too.***
