While we'd all love to see it, the odds against him are very long. Making a practice squad would be a major win for him.

Yeah, I get it. Joe Milton was trending on X last evening, and seeing JaQuae Jackson with a TD was some icing on the humble pie for the doubters. But what happens in the pre-season rarely translates to the roster. Regarding Milton, the Patriots' head coach in his post game presser effusively praised him. But the QB job is Bailey Zappe's to lose, and the Patriots also have Drake Maye on the roster.

I'm one of the people that didn't think he looked very good in his fluidness or route running in general. Looks like he's about to prove me wrong lol. Good luck, hope he makes the team

Jackson was underutilized due to GW's accuracy issues. I hope he gets a shot with the Pats. Off to a good start.
I loved seeing the ball go JJ's way. While healthy, JJ and Dremel were two dependable WRs last season.

Lord, how I'd love to see a real RUTGERS passing game this year. People blamed the OL, blamed the receivers.. I think it was mostly QB and has been. While very young you could look away and chalk it up to player development for the payday down the road... but the progress needed was not there.

Man could the QB throw a great "deep" ball too!
Found this on X/Twitter-had forgotten about this play.

That TD was on the DB (came up to the box and got played)
When a WR is all alone and can turn to face the ball coming in its a good day

No offense but Frank the Tank could have scored on that play - blown coverage i suspect. Its all about getting separation in the NFL - remember Dwayne Jarrett great HS & college player at USC from Jersey. He sucked in the NFL cause he couldn't get open - except for Sanu if you dont get separation from the DB your not going to make it on Sunday.
