Another stadium expansion question

Every drawing I've seen has included a new videoboard in on the north side. Why do we need one? The jumbotron is obviously big enough for the entire stadium and those in the newly expanded areas will obviously prefer looking south to craining there necks around to see the new screen.

Seems superfluous.</p>

If you sit close to the south endzone you can barely see the big video board. Especially in the M Club.<div>
</div><div>I bet it is going to be a combo board, with video and score/quarter/time info, rather than just a big video screen</div>

Also, a few people with a few dollars sit in the field house. They like tv just like everybody else.

Are we going to make the video board large enough to accomodate these people? Seems to me that you either build another really big screen or don't even fool with it.

Video boards aren't a huge investment in the grand scheme of things... especially when it comes to spending 80 million. The Mootube was 6.1 million in 2008, and we would be getting one only about the third of the size of it at a cheaper price. Also, a lot of that money was spent in construction costs an such, which shouldn't be that big of a deal when the NEZ is already a construction zone. I wouldn't be surprised to see us invest less in that board than we did the ribbons.
