Reminiscent of a run Rudi Johnson had for Auburn against Wyoming about 10 years ago. Too bad we wasted that effort with the loss.

I didn't feel that in this game. The difference was, in this game, we all knew Keenum was going to get his 350-400 yards, we just had to score. When we didn't come out and put up a score to go up by 10 or 14 in those first 2 possessions of the 2nd half, you just knew that we blew a golden opportunity. It' just sickening to know now that if Mullen had been given ANYTHING to work with at the QB position this year, we could probably have pulled off 6 or 7 wins. Oh well, it wouldn't be MSU football without the woulda, coulda, shouldas!!

Unfortunately for Anthony, he's found himself in the same position far too many times of having to say "I'd give it all back for a win." I truly believe him when he says that. Hell of a run against Houston though.

look at him downfield blocking

of the 2nd half may have been the most crucial mistake of many made on the day. Of course, we can thank a bad call by the "nonbiased" officiating crew for that problem. We completed a pass inside the 4 yard line on 4th down only to get punked by the referee who said our QB was across the line of scrimmage. Had MSU gone up by 10 points there, the whole complexion of the game changes. Maybe we never, ever trail by more than 7 points late in the 4th quarter. Maybe we never trail at all. 4 turnovers in the red zone; 2 screw jobs by the referees to take Bulldog points off the board. That equals defeat. Defense was far from good, but they did more than anyone should have asked of them. MSU's defense returned an interception for a TD, blocked a field goal, and intercepted Keenum inside our 20. Hey, they did their job! It was the offense that took a step backward. ****** officiating deliverd the knock out blow.

Good hustle.

The way they put skirts on QBs these days, you wouldn't expect that out of a QB. Good play all around.

There's no questioning his drive. 9 QBs out of 10 aren't down there trying to push Dixon in. Lee makes his fair share of solid decisions and good plays. I almost catch myself thinking he may be a quality QB. But, his screw-ups are monumental, gaming changing screw-ups.

The little guy is hard to love and hard to hate.

Jerious against Florida. No way. Overcoming his own shitastic OL AND their defense, AND it resulted in the win. Dixon's was the equivalent of a solo homer in the 8th when you're already down 9-0.

....that since this officiating crew couldn't count to 4, they were probably looking at the wrong stick (the one that marks where the 10 yards for a 1st down starts) instead of the dial-a-down marker. The play was 4th & 9. They said Lee was about a yard across the LOS. Lee was "about a yard" across the first yard market stick I speak of. Dumbass just wasn't lined looking at the right stick.

I can think of a number of runs that I like better.

Great run by Dixon though.

making that mistake on the field is bad but at least it is understandable. having multiple camera angles and plenty of opportunity to stop the play on the field to review the play is pitiful. i know mullen should have stopped them, and he has said as much, but they can do it on their own too. hell they review damn near every play now in the booth.

Norwood's run, while a game winner and memorable, was no more special or un-special than AD's herculean effort. And the equivalent of a solo homer when you're down 9-0. I would say it was more like a three run shot in the bottom of the 7th to put you up, then your bullpen can't hold the lead.

they are just trying to not get in a pissing match with C-USA and it is very obvious.

Said that there wasn't enough evidence to change the call so the call on the field would have stood.

That's a lie. An outright lie. There was more than enough evidence to overturn that call.

Just a copout by the SEC office.

so you agree with the converse that Dixon's is not better than Jerious's. Have I got that right?

Norwood's run ... was no more special or un-special than AD's

He outruns the defense to the corner after breaking a tackle in the backfield. He is one of the fastest men alive.

Miller's was a pass completion. He did break several tackles and was very tough. However, it wasn't a rush officially speaking. I actually didn't watch that game, so i just watched it on youtube for the first time.

However, I am going to stand by my statement. I can't remember another bulldog carrying multiple defenders into the endzone from the 20 yard line. I almost hate to describe it because the effort transcends words for me.

Your sentence structure, syntax and word choice are pretty impressive. I mean, it's not every day you find a BCS running back with a Terry education on a message board eloquently arguing his own case. Oh, and by the way, I see the connection between the champipple in the back floorboard and the username now.

That's an excellent picture of you. I see the genius hidden deep in the eyes.

You are truly a sage among midgets. My honor.

You are probably right on the money with that observation. I wish someone in the media would bring that possibility forward for public consumption.

Norwood's was more clutch because of the game situation.
AD's was more impressive because he dragged those dudes 20 yards in a game we ultimately lost.

All in all, a wash for me on the "special play" scale. I guess perhaps 10-15 years from now I will remember the Norwood run a little more because we won the game and it was against Florida..
