but all the premium board stuff I've seen says Conner is down to Bama and MSU and we sit in good shape with Shumpert. Take it for what its worth.

No idea on Conner but I think we are right in the game on Shumpert but probably Alabama's to lose based on a family member of mine in the Fulton school system. I think he will be a DB instead of an offensive threat at the next level.

Hell, he's not even showing an offer from them.

I ain't feelin your source. I like our chances.

And, they're likely down to their last 5-6.

both Shumpert and Conner at Safety...along with Vonn Bell.

They may take one of the two(along with Bell), but they won't get both of them... That said, it may be a waiting game with both of these two guys.

Kid is the best MS RB I've personally seen in the last year or so. Good size, good speed, runs with power. He was pretty much it for Tupelo's offense and still put up really good numbers. Even had a solid game against USP's D. He should definitely get a shot at RB before he's moved to safety. We seem pretty loaded at the position, but I'm of the opinion that you can never have too many good RBs or QBs, especially with the way RBs get dinged up/injured.

I know we got another commitment at the position today, but I see that guy as more of a scatback/slot WR. Definitely not the in-between-the-tackles runner that we need for our offense.
