Is going to be? They've added on to it and the drive through has two windows like a fast food place. I haven't heard what is going there and wondered if anyone knew.

I'm becoming convinced the end goal is for every resident in Starkville to have his own personal Mexican restaurant. I know we have two new ones coming in...one in the old Pizza Hut and one next to Aldi's in the new strip mall.

I dug pennies out of the ashtray in my truck to eat there. It was an obsession.
It was a Cadence Bank before, and they just recently merged with BancorpSouth. The Cadence in front of Kroger and Lowe’s is now a different bank so they may have had to sell the location across from Strange Brew, too. Or they may just be remodeling it. But the most likely answer is another Mexican, chicken, or sandwich restaurant.
I would get a dozen to go and cook steaks at home!
When the Cadence/Bancorp merger was approved, the DOJ came in and said they had too many branches in the area. Cadence "gave" all of their Starkville and West Point branches to First Bank out of Hburg and all of the Bancorps in Starkville became Cadence. Cadence had always planned to shutdown the branch across from Strange Brew once the new building was built on Russell.
Anway, last I heard the old Cadence branch will be a doc in a box.
