seems him and super gnat mccluster were in a traffic mishap near pontotoc saturday. no bad injuries but burned his 95 escalade to the ground. seems kids these days have a higher mode of transportation than we did back in the day.

two days ago when it happened. Try and keep up.

Perhaps a new lexicon entry is needed. "Expensive cars". It would follow along the lines of "Grades" and "Crimes".

Why did it take 2-3 days for it to be "officially" released to the press? First I heard of it on news was last night TV sports and today's paper.

Edited: It's a 2005 Escalade, not a 1995. I was about to say that we're falling down on our job if we can't get newer cars than a 1995.

crap, but I thought it interesting that McNair buys his girlfriend (one of them, evidently) an Escalade, and finances it. Apparently, it was in both their names, and she was supposed to make the payments. I am sure she was going to make payments with his sugar daddy money. But, this guy had the whole "new car for the girlfriend" thing all figured out.

He signed in 2006 though, so we obviously got him the previous year's model instead of the current model year.

That's the difference between us and Alabama.

He signed in February 2006, committed sometime in October 2005. But, he was at the spring game in April 2005. Obviously you gave it to him then, before the '06s came out.

So see, y'all are still on the level.

Near Ponotoc? I thought it happened while they were holding up the Rebel Barn?

<span class="storybody">Greg explains why.

"Ole Miss was a good fit for me. It's a good distance from home - not too close and not too far. I feel I'll get a real college experience there, but if I need to, I can get to Memphis pretty quickly," commented the matter of fact <font color="#000066">Greg Hardy</font>.

What were some of the other factors?</span>

<span class="storybody">"I also have some good friends at Ole Miss - Big Mike (Oher) and Coach (Hugh) Freeze, who was my high school coach until this year. Big Mike and I are cool."</span></p>

<span class="storybody">"Another factor in my decision was the possibility of early playing time. Ole Miss needs some help at defensive end and I see some openings to step in and contribute early."

What will Greg bring to the table for the Rebels?</span></p>

<span class="storybody">"What I bring to the table is good pass-rushing ability. I like to use my speed and agility to get to the quarterback in a hurry. On defense, it's our job to get our offense the ball. Nothing, except a turnover, puts an opposing offense in a bad situation like a QB sack."

Who did Ole Miss beat out for Greg's services?</span></p>

<span class="storybody">"Ole Miss, Louisville and LSU were my three finalists - in that order. They all offered me and all three are good schools, but like I said Ole Miss is the right fit for me."

What will Hardy have to do to get his game to that "college" level?</span></p>

<span class="storybody">"In college, I will need to get in the weight room and get stronger. I also need to work on my speed to be the kind of player I want to be. Why is it that just about every time an Ole Miss player is in an accident, arrested, or in some kind of trouble the words "Escalade", "Navigator", or "Hummer" are mentioned?
