The only time I ever saw a fight at a Panic show was in Veterans Memorial during Henry Parsons. It was a hell of a sight.Sometime after that they had a show at veterans. It was a disaster. They selling hot beer on the field. I guess their idea was to bring hot beer to field, restock and let it ice down and then sell. Well, it was selling so fast there was no time to ice it down. Completely fitting for jackson.
Lotta panicked fans hereFound photography from One Jackson Place 4/22/00. Who was there? Rip Mikey

Agreed. The WSP from that era is my favorite band ever 97-early 02 was so freaking goodThanks for sharing. The band, in this form is some of my favorite music. Mikey was just different than any guitarist I’ve ever heard.

Jackson was rough then too no doubt. In today’s Jackson a lot of suburb people won’t go there unless it’s absolutely necessary. As a little kid I remember going to Red, hot and blue bbq, Piccadilly, and many other Jackson establishments in the late 90s early 00s. Nobody was really worried in broad day. We used to go to north park mall/county line area a whole lot as well. As the years when on we went to Jackson less and less as a family. It really is quite sad. I remember a much more vibrant Jackson. **** I remember taking field trips to the Jackson zoo. Now you have to be crazy to venture over there. I can only imagine what I was like in the 60s 70s 80s probably way better then the late 90s and very early 00s even though that era is golden compared to now.Hard to believe only 25 years ago Jackson actually had a pulse. Makes me wonder when was the last time memorial even had a concert...
I was just about to post this. Diamond Jim’s, Service Merchandise to wish for things from Santa, with some delicious Krystal for dinner (we didn’t have one in Vicksburg at the time), was peak Saturday afternoon.I grew up in the metro center. Lol. They had an arcade “Diamond Jims” - spent hours in there. And the food court. Metro was the thing before north park.
What year? I graduated from HC in 05.I grew up in south Jackson off of old mcdowel rd and went to hillcrest. We lived out to the reservoir in 1988 when things. Really started taking a turn in Jackson. Before then I loved where we lived. Could ride our bike to the ymca and baseball fields around the corner and played there all day everyday
I still have an old Diamond Jim's token on my desk. Possibly my most sentimental possession.I grew up in the metro center. Lol. They had an arcade “Diamond Jims” - spent hours in there. And the food court. Metro was the thing before north park.
