17 his first year in limited playing time over 10 games
13 last year with a bad offense in 10 games and didn't play a majority of UL or UT game last year so 8 full games roughly
7 this year when UK probably threw 150 attempts less than the last two years.
so that answers your question. he's a great back who can catch the football when he is needed to. no offense he has played in has done many HB screens, they have all been tunnel screens to wideouts but when he's had his chances he has caught the ball. for his career he averages 7 yards a carry and 7 yards a catch.
I agree, he is a fine back, never said nothing to the contrary. To put it in perspective, Derek Henry of Alabama was arguably one of the best backs in the last 20 years in college, and he didn't get drafted until the 2nd round. So we think Boom will be drafted in 7 rounds? Hell, i hope he goes first! like i said, i love Boom, but the NFL don't value running backs like they used to, especially the smaller ones.
