is the part about Dr. Linton. Although, I will say this on his behalf- I would take the word of a MD over a nurse any and everyday. And I work in the healthcare field side by side with both everyday. Nothing against nurses, but the fact of the matter is MD's are trained to read CT's, MRI's, and X-rays, and most nurses aren't. And as rule of thumb, you defer to the MD.
I think the real story here is this- I do believe that Moore has a tear or some other problem. Reason being, he had tendonitis in his elbow, which often times is an indication that a pitcher may have a ligament tear, usually requiring Tommy John surgery. I think Moore's options are to either have surgury and rehab, or he can quit baseball and just live with it and will probably be fine in life. From what I have heard, he will stay at MSU and just sit out baseball. And if that's his decision, I respect that.
