Anybody know what we are doing with the former visiting team locker room?

how are we going to use this space? also, what is the talk on renovating our current gameday locker room (turman field house)? our practice locker room is outstanding, but our players gameday space needs an upgrade. obviously, it is in the works, but what is the word on it?

we need a sterile central european club vibe going on with lasers, grottos (plural), barber shops, mechanized robot butlers, fog machines, state-of-the-art ventilation, pulsing house music, and interactive face shots of all the players and less stained drop ceilings mixed with cinder block and musty carpet. we are in the sec now. facilities are about to get even more ridiculous than this:

so we need to keep up. secN money will help tremendously. 40 mil per year aint bad 'atol.

add a stuffed wildcat to the list of must-haves.

anywho, i think we all know something will happen, but what has been said after the renovation to the rest of the stadium is completed?

I think the visiting team lockerroom is supposed to increase the size of the recruiting lounge.

Looks like we have the exact same centerpiece as Minnesota. Had to been the same architect.

It's gotta be cheaper to just pay these guys.

Also, what's the deal with the velvet rope ring about the capet logo. Don't put the logo there if there's going to be some perceived black magic voodoo if someone walks on it.

I asked that question myself. I was told its both respect and to keep traffic off the white parts on the logo.

Its not photoshopped.... I saw that Paul retweeted a recruit who got an offer from UK recently... The recruits pic was him standing in front of it.

Inlaid carpet logos like that are pretty expensive. Almost all univeristies rope it off. Come on though, in the grand scheme of things universities could replace that every 3 years.

it defeats the purpose of even having it as carpet. i agree....maybe we could be the one school where you are actually allowed to walk on all of the carpet. obviously, it would make it smudged or dirty, but if you cant walk on it, what is the point? after all, it is in the smack dab middle of the locker room floor. now, everyone has to walk around it. its dumb when other schools do it and its dumb when we do it.
