Whitehead to switch his commitment from MSU to OM any given day, and cancel his visit to MSU. Cancelling his visit is the only thing that sucks. Yancy has been pretty dead on so far.

have fun with that depth chart. And they have commits from about 7 receivers, and I'm sure some of those will be switching to DB. These guys are brilliant.

He will pretty much be guaranteed not to play for the next 2 years. With 3 secondary JUCO's coming in, plus whoever is already there, he won't play for 2 years. Then again, he may not play for 2 years at MSU either with Slay, Broomfield, Banks, and Love. Either way, I think it will go down to the final day.

We need corners as badly as any position on the field.

From what I saw from MSU, your secondary was pretty damn solid, so as far as early playing time, we have certainly have playing time available.

his momma really liked OM. Not a surprise, plus to be honest, look at the competition he's played against during his career. He's probably the most athletic kid on the field, so it will be interesting to see how he performs at the next level regardless of his college choice. I also believe the same with Tobias, but I think Brassell and CJ can compete with Brassell needing some weight training (RS).

He also said in an interview with Yancy that he would probably go to Miss St even if he wasn't playing football.

as far as depth. Who knows if those juco guys coming in are going to be worth a damn, and their secondary was one of the worst on th ecountry last year.We have our entire secondary returning for 2 more years atleast, plus Slay coming in. Wells, Love, and hughes red-shirted.

And this is not conspiracy theory **** but it makes no sense how a player that was committed to State is suddenly just not even visiting.

they have opened up the pocket book to play the game knowing there is no way they get in trouble with Slive. MSU just needs to decide are we going to sell our souls and play the game or are we going to try and play by the rules. I can't see Slive getting the boot so we might as well pay up. I do however feel that if Auburn goes on probation and is stripped of their title that Slive should be thrown through the door and out of his office.

is that you can cheat and as long as all these reports have to go through the SEC office, Slive is going to sit on them. If a player's Dad wanting $180k doesn't rise to the level to turn it over to th eNCAA, then there is a lot of things you can do short of that, that should land soem recruits and nto raise a red flag with Slive.

Seeing as how those 3 guys had a total of 1 other BCS offer (and that was from Kansas), I'd saythey're probably not players the Black Bears should count on for much.

they've obviously been reading this message board and all the mean things we are saying about them.

I actuallybelieve this has all been set up for a while now between all of these guys with it all going down at once. Seems very orchestrated to maximize their attention.

Like I've said before, when Ole Miss has a bad year next season, and the entire coaching staff is fired, I would like to see follow up interviews with all of these guys.

'Any given day', he'll switch his commitment? He' supposed to be in Starkville this weekend, just wait to freak out after he does or does not show up.

For all we know Yancy is trying to provoke message boards to react so he can send over any choice comments to recruits. And don't for a second think that's not the kind of **** he does.

but in terms of accurate information, Yancy has been pretty spot on for a couple of years now. He owns Rosebowl.

I think that they SEC and NCAA are both responsible for what may be going on, and not just at UM.

But, I also think that if a program our size or UM's size gets caught right now, they will be made an example of in a big way. I think that would be perfect way for the NCAA and SEC to say "look at how tough we can be" all the while the SEC returns to buisness as usual after the punishment is handed down.

starters and as someone else said, our secondary was pathetic. Hell, Damien Jackson was mr. super juco dback with tons of offers last year and he wasn't anything special in the sec.

If he is canceling his visit it will be before Friday, so 'any day now' is a bit vague given the certainty of his statement now isn't it? I'm not trying to compare the two Yancy may be better than Rosebowl but that is not saying much. We're talking about a grown man that has been asked to leave practice because he won't stop taking pictures of 18 - 20 year olds.

We're back to Barry Switzer, Oklahoma, Marus Dupree. Slive declared open season. The NCAA, under pressure from the BCS and other bowl executives, declared open season.

The B1g Ten starting its own network and ESPN countering with a mega-money deal with the SEC, along with increasing bowl money, has made recruiting integrity a complete farce.

Ole Miss understands this. MSU is probably a little nervous about playing this game under the Camgate microscope - and Ole Miss understands that too.

We need to throw caution to the wind and get in the game.

Amanda Elzey is 4A. Not big, but certainly not small. Lots of your commits play at a level of 4A or lower. Last time I checked, he is playing a higher level of comp than CJ at Philly. And almost every SEC recruit is the most athletic kid on the field.
