I'm sorry but winning 18 games, losing in the first round of the NCAAs, and losing to Gardner-Webb at Kentucky, one of the alltime winningest programs in NCAA history, did not impress me last year. Our talent does not equal UK talent yet they have lost their last two to MSU (once with Tubby). He is a good coach but he has done nothing yet at UK that deserves any credit. Many UK fans will tell you the same thing.

Im not sure how the guy can do what he did at UTEP and A&M and still have to prove himself.

****, they still went to the tourney last year. They had as good an SEC record as we did and played in a much tougher division.

usually I just sit back and laugh at you jack-holes with your mincing words and quibbling over details, but this is just silly. All of you people that are trying to equate football bowl games with making the sweet sixteen are ridiculous.

A more accurate comparison would be to try to compare only BCS bowls and throw out the rest...but still it's apples and boobs. Personally I prefer boobs.

Edited to add: Boobs.

Look at the roster he finished the season with last year. No Meeks. No Patterson.

Joe Crawford and Rumeal Bradley had been busts at UK up until about the middle of last January. What he got out of them was amazing. They came within a whisker of beating UT in Knoxville and winning the SEC.

You people put way too much emphasis on the non conference losses. They are meaningless.
