Our fans will be too concerned about watching us play VMI in baseball. I would much rather have a big State crowd in Oxford.

The game will be competing with a baseball game in Oxford. Baseball at noon, basketball at 2:30 pm.
Put me down for a NO too, haven't stepped foot on that campus since 1983, no plans to ever again.

This thread is a good example of how lame our fans are right now in respect to supporting the basketball program
I' went to a STATE game at the Sad Pad back in the 90's when we came in ranked and they built a good lead against us and were shouting in unison "OVER RATED". Then we came back, I'm forgeting the STATE Hero who brought us back but we ended up whippin' their A$$ES. We gave those pricks hell too. Nice memory. Wish I was in the vicinity to go cuz I would.
Or maybe it's a good example of how lame our basketball program has been since the last few Stans years? For me though, I just despise the game of basketball no matter who's playing
I don’t remember much from my last trip to Oxford for basketball, only that we lost and their student section chanted “Sidney’s Fat!” at Renardo every time he shot free throws, which admittedly made me laugh.
No. Went to a baseball game there about 40 years ago. Haven’t even back and not going back.
Any parking tips from those who have been before? Don’t mind walking but we are taking my very young daughter who can’t walk yet so I’m not looking to walk two miles.
May have been 1000 &tate fans in Oxford for the egg bowl. That's counting the band and cheerleaders. Ain't no &tate fans going to Oxford for basketball in big numbers.
Why? That’s dumb. It’s not fans’ responsibility to fill a road venue. I don’t care to ever step foot in the ****** of Oxford.
You can go in my place. I'll be at baseball watching us play VMI. We could be playing UK in the SEC tourney championship and I'd still be at the baseball game watching us play VMI.
