Anyone buying this "extra game fatigue" crap?

Seems like everytime our game is mentioned, it's pointed out that we're playing our fourth game in four days, while UT is playing their third in three. Hell, it's not like we're Syracuse who played a shitload of overtimes. I don't see fatigue playing a role at all....having said that, we can not get into a track meet with UT, but it's got nothing to do with whether or not we are rested.

But it makes more of a difference if you're only playing 7 or 8 players. From what I can tell, you've been playing 10 or 11 players, which should cut down on fatigue issues.

The 4 games in 4 days was one reason I wrote off any chance we had of making a run. With 3 guards out for the year and another 3 guards playing hurt and playing only 8 players, there was no way we'd survive the fatigue of 4 games in 4 days. If you're able to play 10-12 players every game, you have a shot to do 4 games in 4 days without hitting too much of a wall.

By the way, why again hasn't Augustus played much before this weekend? He's looked pretty good out there. It looks like you could've used him a lot this year. I find the timing somewhat interesting with Veazey writing the short piece on whether Augustus was considering a transfer, and all of a sudden, Augustus's minutes increase dramatically.

Yeah, it had nothing to do with Bailey dislocating his ankle or anything...

There's only been 3 times in 30 years when a team has won 4 games in 4 days to win the SECT title. However, in our case, our first game was ridiculously easy and even in our 2 other games nobody's been getting more than about 30 minutes in, so I think we're in about as good shape fatigue-wise as a team could possibly be after playing 3 games in 3 days.

His game yesterday was off the chain, but he did look tired at the end.

I think our team is generally well rested.

I'm a little worried about the effects of Kodi slamming into the floor yesterday. I hope he's still okay, because I think this is a game in which he contribute in a big way.
