I know he played some snaps v. Memphis, but yall know what I mean.
Here is my concern. Freshmens make an impact at WR quite often. Carr was arguably our best recruit from last year's class. Our WR group isn't exactly spectacular, particularly at Carr's position.
The good news: Thank God for Arceto Clark. The secret weapon has really stepped up. I still believe in Bumphis and Heavens (but what a disappearing act he has performed over the last couple games). Chris Smith has made some great catches so far. That is a pretty good group of 4 sophomore receivers. Jameon Lewis obviously showed some flashes in fall camp, but he fits the same mold as Clark/Bumphis/Heavens.
However: It is time for Berry to grab a seat (on special teams and offense). His last kickoff return vs. UGA was one of the saddest attempts at a return I have seen in a while. He is a non-factor at WR (and don't tell me he blocks well - we need playmakers). Time for Chris Smith to take that job...and hopefully Carr to back him up. We just don't have a guy like Auburn (Adams), Arkansas (Childs), Bama (Jones), UGA (Green or even the big white boy), etc. We better hold on to Joe Morrow, because he seems to fit the bill, however, it is hard for me to get excited about him after expecting big things from Carr.
It appears that Ricco Sanders isn't going to give us too much.
