I don't know jack about Alcorn but I can easily see us coming out kind of flat and unimpressive. I hope I am wrong so we can get the starters out ASAP but this is generally about the time we stunt the wool growth.

i do think we make the first score pretty quickly but after that things will slow down. if our D starts scoring though, it will get out of hand very fast.

but I honestly don't think they are going to score. The Memphis game should have been a shutout and I have to believe that Memphis' offense is going to be better that Acorn. Im thinking shutout. </p>

And we won't put up as many as I'd like.

I don't know anything about them, either, but after the emotion of the UGA game, and looking ahead to YEWstun, we'll be lucky to get a repeat of the Memphis game performance.

I feel as good about a blowout in this game as I did for Memphis. And I even thought Memphis was better than they apparently are.

We'll run it down their throats, score a few quick TDs, work on the passing game, let Russell play a lot, probably pick off a bunch of passes, and they'll have a ton of penalties. They might get in the endzone on a late score to cut our lead to 50.

I want Manny to use this game to whip our defense into shape. I think a shutout would do wonders for the start of the month that will likely make or break us for going to a bowl. I don't expect a blowout on offense. I'm thinking more of a 27-0 type of game where we come out to an early 14-0 lead after a quarter or so and then settle into practicing in Relf's weak areas. Look for lots of dropped balls.
