IU (and Cignetti, his staff, and their team) are a rare glimpse back to a time when college football was about assembling a squad of players, coaching them effectively, having that team go out with focus and effort as a team, and play very well - while keeping their eyes on the prize of "playing well, and - hopefully - winning".
As opposed to a bunch of guys seeking "theirs" - wrt $$$, camera time, and all the other "stuff"
The fact that he and his staff were able to assemble and develop such a squad - by necessity - in the era of transfers and constant state of flux within second-rate professional football, is truly remarkable.
The most enjoyable team to watch (and root for) in the last several years.
