he's one of the top artist out right now. you can't listen to a country station for 15 minutes without one of his songs coming on. i actually like some of his stuff though, saw him play in starkville several years ago. not what i typically like going to a country show. he played everything from lil jon to metallica. next time i saw him he sang lady gaga. won't be seeing him live again.<div id="LCS_336D0C35_8A85_403a_B9D2_65C292C39087_communicationDiv"></div>

because we don't know the name of a popular singer so that we can get some attention for ourselves? Damn it, I'm late to the party by about 12 hours.

Not only did I not have any idea who Luke Bryan is, I didn't have a clue why he was Googling him. For the record, I've got no problem with a singer taking the words to the national anthem out there with him. It's a difficult song to sing well and you're under a lot of pressure all alone out there. That's better than 17ing it up.

We have a country singer playing an event coming up in San Antonio. Name Blake Shelton. I googled his name and found out that he is one of the judges on The Voice.
Is he considered a good Country Music singer or just average or is he one of those tail end of his career types now working the convention circuit?

if I listen to the radio, it's Texas country, like Jerry Jeff, Pat Green, etc. or on XM it's Prime Country (mostly 80s/90s) or Outlaw Country, or Willie's Roadhouse.

The few times I try a regular country station all I get is horrific garbage like Rascal Flatts.

No idea who he was, then googled him just to figure out what he's done in the last 24 hours that merits googling.

Come to think of it, I think that 99% of the time I've listened to country singers, it's been because they're performing the natn'l anthem.
