I think the guy is still young and hungry.....I think he did an overall above average job at ATL.....cant believe he didn't land anywhere fast and his name has fallen off the map....I had forgotten about him until this hire and I think it is a helluva good hire.....

also, Jim Mora Jr = Mark Walhberg (imo)

lt's definitely good for J. Mora Jr. Low profile job, minimal pressure job, UCLA lives off of Wizard of Westwood, sorta they way TSUN lives off Johnny V. and the 50' and 60's

The guy only has1 year of college coaching experience, as an assistant in 1984. I guess UCLA figured that since USC did so well with a mediocre NFL coach, they'd get one themselves. They should realize that Carroll was the exception that proves the rule. Generally, NFL guys don't do well in college and college guys don't do well in the NFL. The games and the jobs are just too different.

I'm seriously shocked that the football world had forgotten about him.....he was a good NFL coach.....i would go so far and say better than half the NFL head coaches now....so why didn't he get picked up after the ATL gig?

Went 5-11 in one season at Seattle. He didn't completely suck in the NFL, buthis only winning record was in his first seasonhe and had a losing overall record.
