You will not regret it; assuming it's still decorated for Christmas will make it even more special. A really amazing place. I'm not sure if the winery is still open, but you won't miss anything if you take a pass on that. Of course, the gardens will not be as pretty this time of year, but your wife will thank you for the tour.

Even though I'm only 1.5 hrs. from Charlotte, I'm going to have to pass in deference to prior commitments in Florida. I will say that I attended the last time the Dawgs played in that bowl (Dak's last year), but Duke's mayo was not the primary sponsor. I just remember it was cold and it rained the entire day and during the game. Take my advice and buy club level tickets in case it does rain again; my wife watched the whole game on the monitors in the club level. She stayed dry; I did not!!
My daughter has a ODP soccer event in Charlotte Saturday and Sunday so I'm considering, but not going out of my way to rush there. I figure I can buy tickets there for about three fiddy, as in $3.50 instead of the 150 the bulldog club is asking for***
I was soaked to the bone. Stood up the 2nd half b/c I was tired of sitting in it. Walked in wet jeans to dinner and the hotel afterwards. Absolutely miserable game weather wise.
I’d like to but IDK if we make this one. It would be a flying trip and that is probably out of the budget right now.
It's the Biltmore....it is back up. It is Christmas time so things are in full-swing for them. I plan to go to the game...driving over from Raleigh.
