Nice stadium and all. There's some free parking in some university parking garages if you don't mind a bit of a hike, otherwise there's pay parking in little lots on either side of Nicholasville Road south of the stadium.
Interesting, there's one row in this one particular section in each corner of the stadium where there is one seat on the row. Whole row is about two feet wide. I got that seat once during the Croom years when I made the trip by myself. Promptly moved somewhere else.
Also, take your cowbell. They don't care. But as always, make sure they don't care before you start ringing it. Normal gate entry smuggling rules apply.
You'll see lots (and I do mean LOTS) of cornhole games in the parking lots around the stadium. Its an interesting subculture. And their fans are absolutely football-stupid. They don't know anything. They cheer calls against your team and boo calls against their team, regardless of how good or bad the call was. They're just waiting for basketball to tip off.
Team will arrive and depart outside the west side of the stadium....one of the more fun places in the conference to hang out post game and visit with players.
Kentucky's a fun road trip. It's far enough away that your traveling crowd is primarily player families (watch your mouth), transplanted MSU fans enjoying a local game, and the diehard Road Dawgs (like myself). In other words, a good bunch of folks to hang out with.
Hope you enjoy your trip....we're in Row 25, we'll look out for you.
