at one point Matthew Wells was an MSU lean, but still hasn't committed. No one really knows whats happening w/ Damien Robinson. We were in good shape with Carlton Martin, but haven't heard anything lately. Scout is showing Cameron Newton has an MSU offer now.

Anyone else?

I'm guessing it was a couple of years ago before his sister decided to go to OM and the whole family began attending games there?

was at the Ole Miss/Memphis game, and his mom was wearing a Tigers t shirt. Nice.

I don't think we have a shot at all, and I'm not sure State really does either. I think he is Bama's to lose.

...Blinn (2-0) head coach Brad Franchione said.
i knew that Blinn is (or used to essentially be) a feeder school for A&M, but i guess son wasn't able to send dad enough talent to save his job in college station...

and a scary note: does anyone remember the last high-profile recruit that signed with us from Blinn?

Here are our top targets as far as I can tell:

1) Cam Newton, QB: MSU, KSU, Arizona
2) Barry Brunetti, QB: WVU commit
3) Nick Griffin, RB: MSU lean
4) Matt Wells, ATH: MSU lean
5) Vincent Sanders, WR/S: MSU or OM
6) James Carmon, DT: OM Lean
7) Damien Robinson, OT: Bama, UT, or MSU
8) Robert Johnson, WR: MSU or OM
9) Carlos Thomposon, DE: MSU or OM
10) Jamerson Love, CB: MSU or USM
11) Asian Ruff, S: MSU lean
12) Jay Hughes, CB: MSU lean
13) Ferlando Bohanna, LB: MSU, UNC, Clemson
14) Chris Hughes, LB: MSU lean

Obviously, we have to find a QB. If we don't get Robinson then OT is a major hole. And I wish we could land a blue chip WR with some height.

I still can't come to terms with how that mountain of a man was "mistaken for someone else" and murdered at a fried chicken place. We are...

a few of us from the class of 95 madison central got together for some beers sat night, and cj mclain was there....now, cj, who played at arky, is now the lb coach back at MC.....i got to poking him about where the 'madison boys' were gonna go......he just smiled and laughed bc he knew we were all msu homers.......I told him he would be doing due diligence to sway them to MSU (jabbing).....also went on to say that he has gotten to know Coach mullen well......but, without saying, he basically told me everyone at mc is heading to oxford......i was drunk as piss...but this is how i remember it.... like i said...shouldnt be a shocker....

point of our downfall not the USC game.

Seriously, the damn indian burial ground struck again. The guy is traveling with his dad, a truck driver, and is asleep in the sleeper...wakes up and his dad is gone. Gets out of truck to walk to "a chicken shack" where apparently his dad is grabbin a bite and out of nowhere somebody mistakes him for someone else and shoots his ***? I mean come one? WTF? It had to have been a mistake or random driveby unless they were following him and his dad around. Sheesh, i swear that was the day the house that jack built fell. That guy was a freak.
