Based on the importance of this game and how poorly it was executed, I would've thought we would hear something different from him
Yup. This one was all on the coaches. The defense finally showed up and held them to 7 points and that was off a stupid trick play that should have never happened.

Let's add it up: Plays I am not sure I have ever seen;
1) Punt returner call a fair catch inside the 5 yd line - happened twice. Same player bobbles and botches but keeps his job until today. Absolutely bizaare.
2) Never seen a team score 42 pts in 1 quarter (actually 15 minutes) Miss St. game 5 minutes before halftime through the 5 minute mark in the 3rd
3) Onside kick called when you already have the momentum
4) A time-out before a FG attempt, essentially icing your own punter!
5) NO TIMEOUT on a FG attempt causing a delay in game, 5 yds and a missed FG attempt that missed by 1 yd.
6) 4 penalties in a row by your Punting teams
Every week I am hoping the coaching staff makes better basic "Football" decisions. Every week I have been dissapointed,
