I'm sure he ends up the 10th QB at Ole Miss**. Actually I can't imagine why we wouldn't talk to him. Sounds like he wants to go somewhere he's guaranteed to play, and that probably wouldn't be here.

Wouldn't he have to sit out a year? Seems like State would be a good option...

Seems like we've been going after QB transfers lately to fill the depth chart, this guy seems like he could make a good impact down the road. Also sounds like he would want to go somewhere he would play instantly too though. Don't know anything about his leg, but sounds like he has a good arm.

Paul seems to think that he is going to USM to hook back up with his former OC at OSU, who is the HC at USM now.

You're probably right. Still- football gets all the glory at college, and the 2 sport guys get very tempted. Senquez Golson turned down a Red Sox offer of 1.7 million to go to Ole Miss. Now he is only playing football. Not thinking ahead. Thinking of the little head- and football is where the most women flock on campus.

We better at least try to get him if he comes to a MS school

I saw him plays and he's awesome. Would be good competition for Dak. I can't remember if he was a good runner or not bc a running qb fits Dan's offense best. Dak and Cord are perfect for our system.

I'm with you on that.

Unfortunately old Branch is looking here also and it's 100% because of the offense we run with Russell, and that has to be a looming concern for Lunt. Not saying it's unfortunate that Branch is looking here... probably a necessity he comes here actually.

I'm pretty convinced Mullen needs a mobile guy, but he really went out and got what I considered one of the better WR classes in the country this year and he is pretty set on having 2+ available lengthy TE's. At the same time he seems completely ok with lackluster coaching and recruiting on the offensive line though. It could go either way.

I think in ~2 years our offense is going to be set up for a drop back passer to go 3,500+ 30 TD's just based on personnel. The recruits remind me a lot of 2010/2011 Arkansas. Instead we'll probably have a 600 yard rushing QB (which would be nice, not saying that negatively). If only we could switch Dak and Russell's eligibilities to utilize the rosters.

who in the 17 is Branch?
Steven. PSU transfer. Almost signed with us out of high school and almost left PSU immediately following the scandal but waited a year and is now choosing between us, NCSU, and USF.

Spent a year with Brady's coach. I'll take that.
