you'll know when you kill it.

I use this stuff that kills grubs (which is what they feed on) but they eventually come back.

Show the cat the mole hills Put the cat out at night. The next day, you will have a dead mole present on your door mat.

actually hunted the varmints in his yard. He would get up early in the morning, and go outside with a .22 rifle, wait for the moles to begin pushing up dirt then he would run over and shot 5-8 times where the ground was moving. In one week he killed 10 moles in his yard. Our houses were pretty close, but he never woke me up shooting them, I actually got up one morning and joined him, one of the funniest things I had ever seen grown man running around in his yard shooting into little dirt mounds, but it worked.

Think: Jaws.

You're either going to have to kill this animal or cut off its food supply!

I recommend using this. If you can get it in granular and broadcast it over your lawn and surrounding areas it will get rid of what the mole eats. And by doing this you will hope to drive the mole out if there is no food source. It won't kill them but like another poster stated caster bean plant works well. Just plant it in your flower bed and the mole will actually eat. Another option would be to ride your mower over the areas where the moles are and the noise and vibrations will actually drive them deeper.

they get motivated by movement. Those damn moles are under ground and the cats don't see them. A dog is motivated by smell. They smell the moles and dig them up.

Use the dog to infiltrate the mole's lair and gain his trust. Then tell the dog to hold the mole in his teeth while the cat interrogates the mole for information about other moles in the area. Then get all the mole's in one hole and pour cement into it, entombing them all together for eternity.

A friend of mine's mom said that moles only run twice a day. Something like between noon and 1 and then another time. I am not sure on the exacts, but she says if you go out at noon and push part of the mole run down with your foot and just wait with a shovel. she says you will see the mole push the dirt back up and you just stick the shovel in the ground and pop him out. I have no idea if it really works, but it seems like if it did, it would be a damn good drinking game.
