is and how to get to it?

Normally I've had a parking pass in the past, but I'm going up tomorrow on a whim and will have to use the $20 single game parking.

Last year it was over in the section they park RVs in during football season. I'm going to the game tomorrow too and plan to park there.

During the games so far this year it has been the lot in front of the Natatorium. It may be over in the RV lot also, but I've parked in front of the Natatorium for $10.

Is it the "backside" of the coliseum, near where the band practices? My plan was to come up Van Voorhis/Patterson Drive.

No. Opposite side. If you come up Patteson, it's all the way left once you enter the parking lot. It has it's own entrance that is much easier to use though.

Nevermind, I see WhiteTail has been to games this season and would know better than I.

Whitetail, do I enter the lot at the light at Patterson and Mon Blvd? And then just head right once in the lot? I'm picking up my tickets back at the Red Gate.

I came in two different ways ... but the short answer is yes.

I also need to say that this may not be the case for every game. The two games that I did that there were soccer games that started at 6pm and then basketball started at 7pm.

However, if you got there early enough, you could park for free to go to soccer, but if you got there after 6pm, you had to pay.

Anyway, at least one of the times the entrance closest to the track was open, so if you were coming up the hill from Star City, you could just enter there. However, the other time, I just pulled in the main entrance and they pointed me around to the lot where the band practices.

One other game I was coming in from the other way and just parked at the CAC.

It took me an hour to get from Univ Town Center to the parking lot. And that was for E or W Kentucky so it wasn't that crowded. The way they alternate between people and traffic flow is insane. I normally try to find a place in Suncrest and walk over. Its a longer walk, but getting out of there is faster. Patterson Dr is defintely the better option of coming in though.

Park for free. When I go, I walk in to that Kroger or Burger King and just ask nicely if I could park there. I've never been told "no". So I walk up from there.....and pay nothing......and get some exercise!

I've got my son with me, who with his health issues, wouldn't handle that walk that well. I've thought about, even parking over at the Engineering Building, but would rather be right next to the Coliseum.

Go in the main coloseum entrance and get to the right lane. You will go down past the gate and to the left around the the blue lot parking and park near the back. Exit toward Westover and you will be downtown and can be in Westover in minutes.

If the lots are full/closed, park at lot 81 behind the hospital and ride the bus for 4 bucks a head and they drop you off at the front of the building so there is no walk.

Quickest way in is via Westover. Cross the bridge, head up Beechurst and turn left into the coliseum. I come in from town and I have not had much problems all year.
