From what little I've heard, it sounds like he's implying that Mullen released this story because of being bitter.

He also just bashed Bond saying he just wants to get back in the spotlight.

I hate him more and more every day.

He said he wouldn't spit on Bond if he was on fire even if he could recognize him. Hasn't seen Bond in at least 25 years and he's sure Bond weighs more now than he did when he was playing.

Even if Mullen was the bitter, backbiting, *** type, like Finebaum, he's been a touch busy this week to be "releasing" the story.

And if Bond wanted the spotlight, why is is better now than months ago?

Idiot. Do some basic 6th grade school newspaper journalism for once.

I wonder how he thinks Dan Mullen had the time or energy to stir **** up this week. Does he not think at all?

that was pretty damning regarding the situation this would have all gone away because our first report to the SEC office about the Rogers extortion back from last year was summarily dismissed. I would love to know what came out in July that sparked the current investigation.

He does seem to dislike certain teams (us & UT for sure), but he just wants people to listen, call, and talk about his show.

I'm not running spelling/grammar smack, I'm just trying to get this straight. If he doubts Bond was "offered" $200,000 then he is just trying to insult Bond's athletic ability. If he is questioning Bonds story about Kenny Rogers, then Finebaum is just proving he is an idiot.

Does he really think Bond called Greg Byrnes and FABRICATED a story about Rogers and Cam Newton? All this while Newton was a strong MSU lean and Auburn wasn't even in the picture? That theory makes no sense at all.

The booger eaters are doing all they can without opening their sucks right now to hush it up. Finebaum is playing to the crowd like he always does.

Then why is he playing the safe side and giving Auburn the benefit of the doubt? If he's out to press buttons and get a response, I'd be pressing Auburn's buttons...

Soooo... John Bond just happened to pull a random former teammate's name out of the air? One that he hasn't seen or heard from in 30 years? One who also just so happens to know Cecil? All so he could "get back into the spotlight" ?

That's got to be hard for even the most delusional aubies to convince themselves of...

will ALWAYS give the benefit to Alabama or Auburn over any thing coming from a school out of Mississippi. According to him we are a 'garbage' school anyway. I've heard him say that on several occassions.

Hell, he's probably the best in the industry at drawing attention to his show. Negative or positive. He doesn't care.
I hate him more and more every day.
Hate him all you want, but you listened and you're on the internet discussing his comments. That's the greatest compliment you could give the guy.

He stirs the pot with Auburn and Bama folks all the time. A chance to do it with a different fan base and you think he wasn't going to go that route?

He and his Family were sitting by me. He also had a field pass. So I guess he is in good graces with the Athletic Department. Finebaum is probably still pissed about 6-3.
