He told our folks he was getting out of the draft and for whatever reason the paperwork was late. No harm, no foul. Now, it is timne to move on and they basically from my understanding and sources have aqgreed. Now, I have said enough and let's let it play out. He took no money, got no agent, and figured he needed to play longer. No go take on the day.

I have been right more than once but one thing is for sure, I can't post anything without some smart *** remark from you. Go get on some meds and give us a break. Some of us only post when we have a reliable source unlike you and your internet scenarios when you never go to campus, rarely see a game or coach in person, but still remain an imposter as an expert. You and Blue have a lot in common. And Msstglfr, Stans was contacted when Clemson got wind of Purnell leaving. Now, who gives a ****, he turned it down after telling me and several other folks he tought he would take the job but after much soul searching, decided to stay. That is our gain regardless of how some of you bashers feel. Now, why not support the guy and at least give us a rest until November.

What i laugh at is when you suggest Clemson contacted him originally. You suggested they contacted him before DePaul even contacted Purnell about the opening.
All I know is what I was told. I believe they know what they are talking about and it will come out sooner or later. Now, get it a rest and go out and put an American flag and enjoy the holiday and praise the real heros who died to let us banter back and forth.

The only thing I wonder about in all this is that Stansbury had no idea what was going on with Bost when contacted by Veazey and other reporters when all this was going on- even the next day after Bost missed the deadline to pull out...now suddenly he was just a "little late" with the paperwork?
If he got it in the next day after or so I think we might have a shot, but it will be interesting...and then there is also the matter of his grades to deal with too
