Wow congrats to MC. Not shocked that was a coaching mismatch. Timber wolves will be tough in the coming years
I've seen both teams. I thought Asheboro looked more athletic than MC.
This is probably a coaching thing. It would be really easy for a group of kids to pack it in after a season like they had.
I hear Montgomery Central is a few years off from being a conference contender. I can believe that.

MC coach definitely did good things at Pinecrest. Montgomery county folks love football based on WM and EM history, so I feel he will get support and that usually goes a long way. It's definitely nice to win your last game after a long season of losses.
Asheboro continues to apparently be a coaching graveyard. Good coaches have gone there and failed. I wish them the best but something insidious definitely wrong over there, just like Lexington.
