Earlier I read the thread about Shumpert possibly wanting to leave and then saw these two player's tweets a little while ago....Whats going on with our players? Is there anything to make of this?

(WR, Fred Ross) @Theboss_8; "been thinking a lot about my future..." & his next tweet "I can see my self gettin in where I fit in.."

(TE, Gus Walley) @Gwalley_onenine; "I cannot wait to leave Starkville, MS one day..."

I have to laugh at Gus Walley's tweat. The kid is from Leakesville. Starkville must seem like New York City compared to that **** hole.

Yeah, further proof one of those guys had no business getting a scholarship to begin with.

I think Fred Ross is thinking bout joining a fraternity

It's bad when your own damn players even feel the need to take a shot at Starkville. Doubt he ever contributes anyway.

Just a thought on Walley...maybe he is saying he wishes he could do something outside of Starkville like go home or to hunting camp or something. But he can't because he has football everyday? It would make sense.

This is very very possible. Dude's a red shirt and probably lives football and school but misses his high school friends and his hobbies. People need to chill out. Coaches seem to love the guy.

As much as some may want there to be an attrition problem within our football program, we don't have one like we did in basketball under Stansbury. I don't see a lot of high level talent jumping ship.

Who is Mullen's most talented transfer...Carroll? (I don't think he even counts) Mike Hunt?

I suppose it's plausible, but either way it's just further "proof" that Starkville sucks. He says "Starkville getting old quick" too, and that "anything is greener than the brown grass here" when someone replied to him.

It's obvious that he's just an unhappy camper in Starkville.

People leave programs every year, and it almost always deals with playing time. This crap further enforces the need to completely ban players from twitter though.

Michael Carr may have had the most potential. Farve, Thames, Chris Hughes, Jeff Howie, and Johnathan McKenzie are the only ones that ever played that I can remember leaving or being kicked off. O'Neal Wilder may have developed into a decent WR.

I'm not sure if any of those started. Maybe Carr or Wilder. There have been a few others that rarely, if ever, stepped on the field.

ETA: Most of these technically did not "transfer". Many quit football altogether or were kicked off.

And what beautiful city do you live or are an occupant in? One other thing fortunately for Starkville you do live there.
