We have lost 5 games by a total of 24 points and can't seem to be projected past a 3-4 seed. I would hate to see what they would do to us with a 22 point drubbing.

Wonder where we would be if we had beat Evansville and Utah? Definitely top 5 and probably top 3. Those bad losses are going to haunt us. The other issue is we don't have a ton of good wins. UL is our best win and MSU and TX Tech haven't been as good as they should be. Beating Auburn will help but the SEC is down this year and that hurts us. LSU was ranked but not when we played them and so forth.

Looks to be about right for Kentucky. We have more losses than all others in the top 7. You could always argue that SDSU and Gonzaga don’t play the competition but I’m fine with it. Keep the Kentucky players hungry.

Just curious what your thoughts are on what would happen if the rolls were reversed and UK was #6, lost by 22 to an average opponent, teams 7 and 9 lost and Duke was #10. Where do you think UK would have dropped to and Duke moved up to? Based on past experiences I am betting they would have probably switch spots with Duke moving to at least 7th and UK dropping to 10th from getting drubbed by a marginal opponent.
If the rolls were reversed they’d be a lot more buttery on the bottom.

Duke lost to Stephen H. Austin in Cameron

Not trying to start an argument, but honestly what about SDSU's resume makes a case for them to be ahead of us or even in the top 10?
Only losing one game all year. No matter who you play, that’s a great season so far. Now I know we’re better than them but they deserve it as of right now. If they lose another game though they’ll fall far.

If it was our 4th loss of the season, not sure if we would drop 4 spots. It's possible Duke would be above us?

I always wait for the specific voting to come out to see things. Here is our biggest issue in the AP poll...we have 3 douche bags that are the issue. 53 of the 63 voters ranked us 7 - 10 last week (this years specific rankings aren't out yet). Then James Crepea ranks us 18, Luke DeCock (real name) ranked us 19 and Jesse Newell ranked us 22. Had those guys followed suite and ranked us #10, we would have been #9 last week. Think about that, 3 guys out of 63 making that big of an impact. I'll be anxious to see what this weeks looks like.

Once again Duke gets the benefit of the doubt. For anyone who thinks they don't get special treatment, they LOST a game to Syracuse in 2014 and moved UP 6 FREAKING SPOTS. That's pure ********.

Clearly they think the ACC and Big Ten are better conferences this year than the SEC. That’s probably right. I’m just glad the #3 teams in the Big Ten and Big East didn’t jump U.K. this week.

Duke loses by 22 to a marginal NC State team and drops 1 spot....and I thought people on here say that they don't get special treatment and people need to stop with the conspiracy theories.
I’m long convinced that Izzo and K are long time members of Bohemian Grove! Nothing else makes sense at this point.

Heck, if Roy could reel off 2-3 wins in a roll, they’d be ranked again too! LOL

No shocker here from what I posted above that DeCock, Crepea and Newell screwed us again. Jesse Newell continues to be a terrible voter. Here are some of his highlights for this week:

7. Michigan State - 17 spots above their ranking and 10 spots above their next highest ranking by voter
10. Michigan - 9 spots above their ranking and 6 spots above their next highest ranking by voter
11. Ohio State - 12 spots above their ranking and 6 spots above their next highest ranking by voter
13. Arizona - 15 spots above their ranking and 8 spots above their next highest ranking by voter
15. Florida State - 9 spots below their ranking and 5 spots below their next lowest ranking by voter
21. Kentucky - 13 spots below their ranking

Frauds in durham and SDSU should have dropped further. NC State owned them from tip to buzzer. Not even a game. SDSU lost a .500 team at home. These pollsters are just hacks with agendas.
They have to prop up the frauds hopes of a 1 seed so they can't allow them to fall too far. SDSU is their fairy tale story this year so they want to keep that going.
It's really funny to watch them spin their little webs.
It is like they get orgasmic because a mid major is in the top ten.........The NCAA has been pushing the mid-majors for a long time now.........they don't want them to get tired of paying their dues and not receiving a part of the pie....[cheers]

That's so inept it has to be on purpose. No one is that clueless.

Does anyone review these and hold voters accountable? If somebody on my team at work continues to underperform, I don't continue to let it happen. They either improve or they find another job.

Big Ten is definitely better. The ACC is not.

I wonder where the Cat’s would be ranked with 8-9 losses like most of the 18-25 teams, we wouldn’t sniff the top 25!

8 is fair . Highest ranked 5 loss team . Also- I hate Duke as much or more than any of you but their resume is better than our resume if you look at it objectively. Let me be clear - I would love to play them as I think we beat them 5 out of 7 times .

objectively - Duke has beaten two top 10 teams in Kansas and Florida State and they beat Michigan State. Our best win is Louisville . Their worst loss is SFA who is top 100 about the same as Utah . We have .... well you know . I know NC State just beat them but there resume is better than ours. If we are going to be a 3.. give me Duke as our 2 and SDSU or Maryland as the 1.

LOL Maryland is not going to be a 1 seed unless they win out . . They would have to win out to get a 2 . UK wins out and our 1 seed will be KU with a very outside shot at Baylor being it . Our 3 IMO will be either UL for a rematch in the sweet 16 or FSU possibly or someone like Nova .

Suspect it will look something like this

Midwest - KU / UK / UL / Nova
West Zags/Maryland / Creighton / Zona Or Oregon
South - Baylor/ FSU / Auburn / Mich or Mich st
East - SDSU / Dayton / Seton hall / Penn St or Ohio St

really those 4 seeds are hard to figure .
