Think Mullen will be at the top of their list? I was hoping too many high-profile jobs wouldn't be opening up this off-season.

Miami football is big, but it isn't the most important thing down there. I'm thinking the culture of the place is in the back of coaches' minds now when big jobs open up. Success at one place doesn't always translate well to another (think Dan Hawkins at Colorado or Rich Rodriguez). Dan can coach here forever if he turns in an 8 win season every year, even with a few 6 or 7 wins sprinkled in here and there. Miami would have to outbid us by at least 750k for it to be worth it to him.<div>

My father in law is a Miami grad who lives directly across the street from me. I just told him I'm burning his house down if they come after Mullen. A lesson for US in that: DON'T play USM.
