Darius Liggins DE from Oxford (MS) High.
He has one offer....from us.
Mullen tearing the trail up. But this guy is probably Chris Jones pt. 2. No need to worry, guys.

Liggins was from two years ago. However, similar to one Jerrell Powe, the recruiters are going to count him towards 3 different classes. Similar to Anthony Alford.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that those two guys aren't worth a flying f*ck. In general because of their attitude.

Yeah he certainly showed that last year, with his play on the field and his entitled attitude. Will fit in just fine up there. Liggins is overweight and has the same attitude problem. Maybe Hugh can get them in line but he's got his work cut out with both, just like Brassell.

If I were you I'd just brag about Nkemdiche and call it a day.

Sometimes all it takes for a kid is to get out of the area he's in. Signing with USM was a bad idea from the get-go with Alford. Not sure what entitled attitude you refer to but you may know him better than me. I just know he had a great spring at safety for us.

So we should expect Liggens to get into trouble now that he's back in Oxford then? Seriously, that is some weak rationalizing excuse making for Alford.

Alford's a great athlete. He wasn't really a QB though and shouldn't have played that position as a true freshman for Southern.

I already said the jury is out on Liggins. Wouldn't be shocked if he never played a down.

And I saw him progress really quickly in the spring at his new position. At one point he was neck and neck with the 1s, who are both returning starters. Great athlete, will be pretty good when he learns the in and outs I think.

Anthony Alford is a great kid who cannot get away from people who pull him down! He has excelled in this world dispite those around him! I see the perception, but for this kid, Oxford "might" be far enough away from the negative influences! Then again, Cali might not be far enough!

Comprehension fail. You blame Alford's problems on the fact he signed with his hometown school. So logically, you expect Liggens to have problems at Mississippi. After all, he's playing for his hometown school.

Well, first of all I said sometimes, not every time. I've also yet to say that I didn't expect Liggins to have problems at Ole Miss. I actually said I wouldn't be surprised if he never plays here. Not sure what you're pretending I said but if it makes you feel better, don't stop believin'.

And if you think Alford's only problems are that he signed with USM, well, keep on believing.

keep on believing.

I give the rebels credit for one thing, they damn sure believe, at least on the surface. Deep down they probably don't, but they definitely want everybody else to THINK they believe. Our fans on the other hand will out how every single flaw regarding our guys.

Ball with Alford and knows him well. Says he's a great kid

Honestly if that's what you've been told then your employees son needs to open his eyes and learn the difference in a great kid and a kid who's had problems all his life.

I hope Alford finally figures it out but by constantly running from school to school won't get it done.

If he's a great kid then explain how he has gone from West Marion to East Marion to Sumrall to Petal to Southern Miss to Ole Miss all within about 5 years.

RockStar will be glad to explain it to you. All he needed was a change of scenery, change of scenery, change of scenery, change of scenery, change of scenery.

How could you see it? I'll tell you what I saw during spring: a 6'1 to 6'2 210 lb athlete with great feet who can fly. Great ball skills, and absolutely beheaded a few receivers in the Spring game. An absolute stud who, if he gets eligible this yr, will be a great addition to our secondary
