Yea, 2016 when Dan River made us come play in that mess, cause they knew it was their only chance to beat us.

No horse in this but I thought this had to do with Campbell being out of school on Friday? So how does Saturday fit in that scenario. I completely agree about not playing today wth this weather but as a distant observer, this doesn’t make sense to me.

Not having enough referees is why it changed to thursday.

I've always wondered why teams skip Saturday and play on a Monday. To me it seems in the age of player safety, why have them play two games in one week. Now if field condition is poor i understand, but in a scenario like this week and Southside schools possibly not being in session I'd rather see Saturday instead of Monday.

kids/parents have things planned for the weekend... Monday nights arde usually free.

Lack of officials on Saturday is one big reason games are not rescheduled on then. Lots of high school officials do college games and others do rec. league on Saturday. There is a nationwide shortage of high school officials in all sports. It is getting worse. The pay is not great and it is a lot of time involved in doing the games.
