Definitely been one the best games of interest in this one. Along with Crest N Charlotte Catholic
Wow what a game it has been so far. Good as advertised. Been long time since I seen a good one like this. Now into OT
Creek has had numerous chances to finish this off.... I hope they can in OT what a ball game
this Creek team has speed everywhere, and that defense is going to be a problem for 4a teams in this state....

What a game. Mallard Creek won with a statement win. I be curious to see how the 4A polls change up this week.
It's an impressive win for sure on a number of levels. Rankings wise, it will be a mixed bag. People won't know how to quantify this win across the board
It's incredibly easy to quantify. It's one of the best out of state wins in the history of NC football.
Pick up a game mid week, drive 6 hours to southern Ohio and beat one of the most storied HS football teams in the country.....someone give me a bigger win??

I be curious to see if Mallard Creek will have more out of state games like this in the future. I believe N.C. football has stepped up to what it use to be.
That's usually 7 hr plus ride, they must have been flying
I agree, I'm just saying that outside of NCPreps people may not be aware. Like the Butler win last year over the team in Georgia
This win was impressive enough. But what I think is most impressive is that 2-1 record with their out of conference schedule. This is a statement made to their conference, Weddington and the rest of NC. Congrats to the Creek on a great win.
Got to Ironton at 1:00 am this morning. Had 2 starters out on the OLine, was a tough obstacle to overcome before the game started. Some backups grew up today.
The season maker is next week. Last year they beat Indy, right in the game with nationally ranked Buford and the hype was real. Then got rolled by Gaffney and beat by West Charlotte.
Can't let that happen this year. Zero reason why they can't run the table and make a serious run.

I caught the last quarter or so on the app. Look like MC dominated better in the trenches than Moeller.

This will be a huge recruiting tool. Playing tough out of state opponents on bigger platforms will definitely draw alot of big time talent to the Creek.
