Hotel suggestion for those on a budget...

The Red Roof Inn South Point is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, safe and very affordable hotel at a convenient location. It is right off of 95 and only a 10-15 minute drive to the stadium. It is in an area around several other hotels as well...There a couple of chain restaurants within walking distance as well. I think a Cracker Barrel and Applebee's if I remember correctly. Three nights for under $200 bucks...there are also plenty of other restaurants etc.. within short driving distance. You're welcome...

I stayed in the Jameson in that area. I don't remember much about the hotel but we were satisfied with it. May stay there again. Like you said - safe & affordable.

STAY ON THE BEACH.

Best advice I can give anyone. Downtown Jacksonville has very little to offer. Bar scene on the beach is better. Plus, it's the beach. Cab ride or drive in for the game. Enjoy.

If any of you are golfers you need to stay where I did last time in Ponte Vedra at either the Inn and Club or The Lodge. They have packages that include golf on their courses. The hotel also has a shuttle to the game.
